Meet Jeff

A lifelong public servant, Jeff has lived in Chambers County since 2001 and brings over 45 years of experience in public safety as a firefighter, paramedic, and fire chief. He holds degrees in Public Safety Administration and Public & Private Management, and has served the Town of Five Points in elected office for more than two decades, including as Mayor.

The Issues

Jeff believes strong communities start with strong foundations. His priorities reflect the everyday concerns of working families across District 37.

Safer Communities

With 45+ years in emergency services, Jeff understands the needs of police, fire, EMS, and emergency management to keep every neighborhood and resident safe. He will work to ensure they have the funding for greatly needed equipment, tools, and training to perform their job.

Opportunities Beyond the Classroom

Jeff knows college isn’t the only road to success. From job training to small-business, commercial, and industrial growth, Jeff will support improving education and creating jobs so our youth can stay and thrive where they grow up.

Reliable Infrastructure

As a small business owner in a rural community, Jeff understands the need for reliable infrastructure that opens doors for jobs, education, and tele-health right at home. He’ll push for practical, long-term investments that connect our communities and support growth, without leaving small towns behind.

Investing in Where We Live

Schools, parks, and local gathering places build pride, connection, and a place where the next generation wants to stay and raise families. These investments open doors for jobs, education, tele-health, and economic growth across District 37.
